Yam Magazine is a bi-monthly publication covering food, travel, arts, activism, and diaspora stories across Southeast Asia. The contents of the July/August 2023 edition are not publicly known. However, based on past issues, it will likely feature in-depth feature stories, travel guides, profiles on chefs/restaurateurs, spotlights on diaspora communities, interviews with Southeast Asian creatives, recipes, reviews of books/films/art exploring the region’s culture, and more. As a magazine launched in 2005, Yam aims to cover the diversity of Southeast Asia through engaging storytelling and perspectives on the region’s people, places, and traditions.
