Overview: Autumn light is, in my opinion, the best light. Warm golden tones shine through a rainbow of colors in the tree canopy, and the sky shifts quickly between brilliant blue and dramatic shades of steel and black. The clouds seem whiter, the air feels clearer, and suddenly everything comes into sharper focus. Gone is the diffused light of summer, swept away by crisp temperatures and the sense that everything is about to change. Spring gets a lot of credit for being a colorful season, but my vote is with the cider-tinged, golden glow of fall.
